While all of our Rudraksha products are Pre-energized and ready to wear, you may follow the rituals prior to wearing the Rudraksha on your own or by your Guru/Priest. Rudraksha is extremely godly and auspicious. It’s a sacred bead with endless advantages which must be taken utter care of. This powerful accessory have been used since the beginning of time to intensify certain energizes and is the best as it helps maintain physical health and emotional. To energize the rudraksha for its effectiveness there are certain steps we must follow.

Your Rudraksha must energised by you or a priest. It’s a very simple procedure and this article will tell you about everything you need for the process and guide you step by step.


1. Simple Procedure

Choose an auspicious day or any Monday for blessings Follow this simple ritual prior to wearing a rudraksha: 1. Wash or sprinkle rudraksha/mala with Ganges water or pure water 2. Apply sandalwood paste and pure cow milk. 3. Offer incense /dhoop. 4. Offer any white flower 5. Touch the rudraksha on a Shivaling or Lord Shiva’s photo and chant “Om Namah Shivaya” for a minimum of 11 times. Thereafter, the rudraksha can be worn or put at pooja place.


2. Elaborate Procedure


Requirements for the procedure :-

1. Gangajal or Pure clean water.  
2. Dhoop (incense.)  
3. Kapur (Camphor.)  
4. Chandan (Sandal paste. )  
5. Rice Grains.  
7. Any White Flower.  
8. Any fruit.  
9. Milk (if possible Cow’s)

The steps for the procedure :-

Step 1:  
Firstly, pick an auspicious day or any Monday as it’s considered to be Lord Shiva’s day. Mahashivratri and month of Shravan all days are auspicious so that can be chosen too.

Step 2:  
Take a shower and with a pure heart sit down on the ground.

Step 3:  
After your seated place the beads on new unused plate and wash the rudraksha with milk.

Step 4:  
During the process Chant – Om Namah Shivaya – 3 times till you finish pouring the milk.

Step 5:  
Sprinkle Gangajal or Pure water all over yourself after you have cleansed the rudraksha with milk.

Step 6:  
Chant “Om Namah Shivaya” three times.

Step 7:  
Take a sip of water and chant “Om Namah Shivaya* three times again.

Step 8:  
Again take some water and pour it on the ground and chant “Om Namah Shivaya” once.

Step 9:  
Sprinkle water on Rudraksha and chant “Om Namah Shivaya “ once.

Step 10:  
Sprinkle flowers on Rudraksha and put Chandan on the Rudraksha and chant “Om Namah Shivaya” once.

Step 11:  
Offer Dhoop to the Rudraksha and chant “Om Namah Shivaya ” once.

Step 12:  
Offer Rice to the Rudraksha while chanting “Om Namah Shivaya” once.

Step 13:  
Burn Camphor in front of Rudraksha and chant *Om Namah Shivaya ” three times.

Step 14:  
Bow to Lord Shiva and Chant this last Mantra once.

“O Purnamadah Purnamidam Purnat Purnamudachyate, Purnasya Purnamadaya Purna Mevavya Shishyate*  
Om Shantih Shantih Shantih!

Make sure that you don’t interchange your mala with anyone else. This purification process can be done often in around 3-4 months. Rudraksha will always act as a shield and will always keep you protected from any fatalities.
